I was an actor in the 2019 Nueva School for the Arts play, The Laramie project. The Laramie Project is a very sensitive and emotionally heave play about a young gay man by the name os Matthew Sheppard who was beaten to death in the outskirts of Laramie Wyoming. In this show I played the roles of Muslim university student Zubaida Ula, company member Leigh Fondakowski, Anonymous friend of Arron Mickiney, Detective Rob Debree, and The Fireside Bar owner Matt Mickleson. I had a lot of fun working with everyone to make this show happen. Even though we did have some setbacks because of the PGE power shutoffs, we came back and but on a spectacular performance. I loved working with our amazing director, stage managers, and other actors.

I was an actor in the 2020 Nueva School for the Arts play, Emerald City. Emerald City is an Honors written play based on The Wizard of Oz where the main characters have their own home problems, and Oz brings them together at Toto's caffe to play the game Emerald city. In the game, each of them go through a challenge based on their problems, where they confront them at home after the game. In this show I played the roles of Judy (Dorthy's foster Aunt) and the Poppy Princess. I had so much fun working with this show's cast to make this show happen. I was also in a dance, but only for a couple seconds. I was hoping on being part of the set crew but I never had the time while being an actor. But it was still an amazing experience being part of a student written play.
I was part of the set crew in the 2020 Nueva production, Carnage Falls. Carnage Falls is a collection of short spooky stories that all take place in Carnage Falls. The short story I worked on was called Happy Birthday Margarine Walcks which is about a girl who calls her friend to tell her happy birthday and leaves her a message of her memory of one of her friends birthday parties, but it did not go how she remembered. This was my first time being part of the set crew and it was fun but I didn't really get to build anything like the normal set crew would because of the pandemic, so our set crew for our short story just make or got some props for the actor to hold or stand around. I made a broken mirror prop, a newspaper prop, and a fake cupcake which was switched out for a read cupcake even though they didn't want to use real food in the show.
